A very good place for authentic Filipino food if your looking for one. Everyday, they serve different menus from Sinigang, Adobo, Fried Chicken, Pansit, etc. The place is somewhat small and can get packed by customers very quick especially during lunch time. Price is very reasonable and servings are plentiful.

The food was good. The place was very clean but I am not impressed with the portions compared to another restaurant I was going to. And spoke to someone about and I don't think they were impressed with them. So I think I will leave this place as an alternate from the one closer to me.

Super friendly service, we were asked if it was our first time there and if we wanted samples. We tried some of the samples and the food was delicious. A neat little fast food Filipino restaurant and delicious food. Definitely recommend and the prices were decent.

Best Filipino turo-turo (IYKYK) joint I've come across in LA! Best one in the US, come to think of it. Unlike other joints, they seem to limit their daily offerings to about 10-12 dishes. Which means food doesn't sit on the warmer for too long. The portions are generous and the food was delicious! I tried the dinuguan and kaldereta (2 entrees combo) with rice and pancit. I also got bilo-bilo which is a dessert. All for less than $18. Wish I was closer to this place!

I was in town and found Pick Your Plate on Yelp. I got lucky that it was Thursday, which is Lechon day! The Lechon is sold by the pound and is an absolutely unctuous mix of moist, savory meat and crispy skin with salty/sweet dipping sauce. Served warm and steaming, it was outstanding! I got enough to bring home on the plane back to the Bay Area!

Their everyday menu always sold out by 1pm so make sure you come in early. My favorite: sisig, pancit and kare kare Place is small but clean .

I've been looking for authentic Filipino food near North Torrance and this is it! I came at 11am (which is when they opened) and I saw all bunch of people were already waiting to order - which was a great sign. I ordered lumpia, longanisa and pancit and ALL of these were delicious, exactly how it tasted back home in Manila! Highly recommend this place if you're looking for authentic pinoy cuisine :)

The food here is so good! If you want Filipino food for lunch a you NEED to eat here. My favorites are the cebuchon on Thursdays (come early! It sells out fast) , lumpia, tortang talong, and pancit. But all the food is delicious. There hasn't been a dish that I didn't like. PYP catered my birthday at work a couple years ago and all my co workers loved the food. The owners are so friendly and sweet. One of the owners who I fondly call Auntie Clare is the sweetest. She treats me and my family like we're a part of hers. When she learned that I liked ampalaya (bittermelon) she told me that she will make ampalaya next time for me and she did! I was so moved by that kind gesture and customer service. Parking is a little tight in the back but it's easy to find parking in the nearby residential area. EnJOY!

Fried chicken is excellent!! Kids loved the sweet spaghetti and longanisa! But maybe I suck at ordering a La carte or by the pound bc I've never been able to keep it under $20 or even $30 for 4 dishes. Look, the large portions come at a hefty price so I'll probably just get the combos next time? lol. Also, they no longer carry any dessert at this time. More indoor seating but less parking than I remembered. Lot is a bit awkward to pull into but if it helps to keep the rent low for an establishment, so be it. I may be back one more time for lechon Thursdays.
